Jindabyne- Internal Landscapes

EXTERNAL LANDSCAPES MIRROR INNER LANDSCAPES
- In an imaginative landscape, the outer, physical landscape mirrors the inner, emotional life, or inner landscape, of the characters that inhabit it.

What are some examples of external landscapes mirroring lamdscapes in Jindabyne?
Why/How do they do this?

  2. An example of of an external landscape is when there is nice piecefull music then it jumps to the eyes of greggory which suggests that he is evil

  3. WHERE - SCENE 14: The viewer sees a close-up of Susan's face before the strak landscape of the alpine stretches out on the screen again

WHY- the close up of Susans face indicates that she has a story to tell and also implies that she is connected to the land

  4. Close up of the creepy mans(Gregory) eyes when he is chasing susan in her car, then the line in the music in susans car says 'her eyes tell a story'
-this line is showing us that susan is the only perosn that knows the true story of what happened to her, the rest of the world only know a small part of what happened.
